FORD FOCUS RS MK1 HIRE CAR

Located in Matlock, Derbyshire our Ford Focus RS is a real gem, although Ford still produce the Focus RS (Mark 3) there is nothing quite like the original, and in our opinion this is 'the' one to own. The Mark 1 cars were largely hand built as they were too wide to fit down the standard production line and there were a mere 4501 made as Ford were re-introducing the RS marque after an absence since its Escort predecessor. This compares to the newer models that are more production standardised with numbers running up to ~20,000.

 

The car provides an exhilarating drive thanks to the 2.0 L turbocharged engine and the Focus balance and wheelbase design. Our car is standard apart from a few tasteful modifications and Bluefin chip making it even more responsive.
